Hey, I’m Kelsey!

I am a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). I received my certification through the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) in March, 2022 and have been working one on one with clients since May of 2022.

A lot of things led me to finally enrolling in the NTA training program including my own battle with health and watching both of my grandparents die from illness that would have been mitigated by a nutrient dense lifestyle.

As a practitioner, I do not place value on your body’s size, I place value in your body’s function. Your pant size tells me nothing about your overall health. I help clients get to the root of their symptoms and find balance with nutrition and lifestyle changes. This may very well lead to a decrease in body fat for some individuals, but that is never my main goal for you.

Are you ready to stop obsessing over the scale and start to actually feel better? Do you want to improve your digestion, get off the blood sugar roller coaster and have balanced hormones? Then I’m your girl!

I also love baking (and eating) sourdough bread, which is what led me to creating my first e-course “Sourdough 101”. I grew up in the kitchen with my mom and have honed my skills over the last few years. Some of my signature dishes are: meat + veggie chili, chicken noodle soup with 24 -hour bone broth, and (I don't know if this counts as a “dish”) jalapeño cheddar sourdough— which I teach you how to make in Sourdough 101!

What is Nutrition Therapy?

I will start with what it isn’t. It isn’t me bossing you around, telling you to cut out carbs or to do a 3-day juice cleanse (please don’t do any of those things!). I do not diagnose or treat any disease. I am not a doctor and the information I provide is not medical advice.

Nutrition Therapy is a process in which I come alongside you and support you on your journey to health. We are detectives and together, you as the expert in your own body and me as the expert in human nutrition. We look at your symptoms of dysfunction and together we craft a roadmap for you towards healing. In Nutrition Therapy, we believe that your symptoms are a result of dysfunction in one or many of what we call “The Foundations” (listed below).

The Foundations

  • A whole food, properly prepared, nutrient dense diet

  • Digestion

  • Blood sugar regulation

  • Fatty acid balance

  • Hydration

  • Mineral balance

The Consequences

  • Endocrine dysfunction (anything relating to hormones)

  • Cardiovascular problems

  • Immune system dysregulation

  • Impaired Detoxification
